Privacy Policy

Cody's Box respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data (only if you sign up): your username, email address, and a secure hash of your password. Managed via Supabase.
- Gameplay data: final scores, points earned, timestamps, and achievements. Used to power leaderboards and progression.
- Clan data: the US county you select. Never precise location — just the county tag.
- Anonymous guest events: if you play without signing in, we log a device-generated random ID and coarse gameplay signals (finished a game, saw a sign-in prompt, tapped it) so we can improve the app. No PII.
- Purchases (if you buy cosmetics): processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and the products you own — never your card number.
What we don't collect
- Precise location, GPS coordinates, or address
- Contacts, camera, microphone, or photos
- Third-party tracking pixels beyond standard analytics
- Anything you don't explicitly submit
How we use your data
- To show your progress, badges, level, and leaderboard position
- To aggregate anonymous stats (e.g., "typical shut rate is 3.9%")
- To send you sign-in emails and, only if you opt in, product updates
- To detect abuse or fraud (repeated failed sign-ins, tampered scores)
Who has access
Only Cody's Box (Cody Pedro, sole operator) and the third-party services that store our data (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or brokers.
Your rights
- You can delete your account at any time. Gameplay records tied to your account are removed.
- You can request an export of your data via email.
- Anonymous guest data cannot be linked back to you, so it can't be individually removed — but you can wipe the device-local ID by clearing your browser's site data.
Children
Cody's Box is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
